Bridge is a string ensemble which exceeds the sum of it’s experienced musical parts.  It collectively draws from the vastness of it’s members’ experience - ranging from classical to  jazz, latin to tango and many different forms of world beat styles.

Two of it’s members - violinist Asako Kuboki and double-basist David DeRiso are full-time members of the Saint Louis Symphony Orchestra.  Cellist Ranya Iqbal, who performs and tours with Autumn’s Child (new age) and Farshid Etniko (flamenco), has firmly established her reputation as one the most sought after cellists in the Midwest.  Then finally guitarist Dave Black, who teaches Jazz Guitar at Webster University adds his own form of uniqueness with his blend of jazz, rock, blues and folk stylings.

When listening to BRIDGE, it becomes apparent to the listener that not only does each band member bring his or her own unique flavor to the table, but that there is a growing level of love, respect and commitment for the combined total.
